It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since we said goodbye, goodbye, goodbye to Katie. In some ways, we’ve lived a thousand lives since then. In others, time has stopped completely.

Catastrophic Blues

When it comes to grief, there are no rules. There's no checklist, no way to know if you're "doing it right", no magic milestones. "It only hurts this much right now", was what I was thinkin' the whole time. Except, we know that's not true. Two years later and we miss our Katie just as much as we always have. She really was the best thing at this party.

You're on your own, kid?

Not if we can help it! Showing up for others is one way Katie's family manages their grief. It hits different after you've been in their shoes. Our vision is a world where no child or family affected by cancer feels isolated or unsupported. Through emotional, financial, and practical assistance, we seek to foster community, alleviate burdens, and cultivate courage when you feel so low you can't feel nothing at all.

We can do it with a broken heart, but we can't make it happen without you! Our goal? Recruit 100 Courage for Katie supporters to raice $100 each to support children and families affected by cancer. That's $10,000 to provide direct support to families all throughout the Great War.
